This is to notify all members that mating of over age dogs/bitches is strictly prohibited. In the past, conditional approvals have been granted but the National Breed Council has now decided to stop this practice.
Therefore, no further applications to grant exceptions to the breeding rule; “Litters out of Males at or over 8 years of age on the day of mating, and/or Females at or over 8 years of age on the day the litter is whelped, will not be registered.”, shall be entertained.
